Communion Litany
In gratitude, we come to this table at the invitation of our Lord.
We come knowing we are loved.
We come knowing we are graced and blessed to receive the bread and wine of heaven, to experience life-giving refreshment, to taste Christ upon our lips.
Still we pray, as those who cannot fully comprehend this mystery, that the Spirit of love and grace and blessing might be upon us as we open our hearts in thanksgiving.
Lord, through these symbols of your presence with us, make us one with You and one with each other.
