Sligo's Children's Ministries Focus

Sligo's Children’s Ministries looks at the whole child and seeks to provide multiple ministries that will lead children to Jesus and disciple them in their daily walk with Him. Children’s Ministries is about developing the faith of children ages birth to fourteen. Our mission is to nurture children into a loving, serving relationship with Jesus through various ministries such as Sabbath School, Kid's Church, Children's Lessons during the worship service, Vacation Bible School, and club activities.

Children's Ministries at Sligo is led by the Children's Ministry Council (CMC). The mission of Children’s Ministries leaders and teachers is to reach out to children and draw them into a loving, productive and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ and with their church and to train, resource, and support those who minister to children. The purpose of the CMC is to empower the Children's Ministries leaders and teachers; to plan, implement and set ministry programs in motion; to provide support as needed.
